3 hours 15 minutes total: 3 hours education and one 15 minute break halfway through.

 

This Certified Professional Medical Auditor Review is designed to help examinees prepare for the exam and to give experienced auditors a refresher.  Our CPMA Review class will cover all sections of the CPMA exam.

NOTE: Our CPMA Review Class is designed as a review only and does not provide complete professional auditor education.  Please view our CPMA On-Demand class for full, high quality education.

Proficiency across the covered material, which include:

  • Medical Record Standards and Documentation Guidelines

  • Coding and Documentation Compliance Guidelines

  • Coding and Reimbursement Concepts

  • Scope and Statistical Sampling Methodologies

  • Communication of Results and Findings

  • Medical Record Abstraction

Hours of education: 3.  Earn 3 CEUs if currently AAPC certified.

CPMA examinees must be a current member of AAPC, however, membership is not required to participate in class.

Required books for 2023 classes, not included: 2023 CPT, 2023 ICD-10-CM, and 2023 HCPCS​.
